In a perfect world there would be happiness — true, lasting happiness. The type that makes everyone feel validated; seen. I’d like to see this perfect world, but more importantly, I’d like to make sense of it. Because in a perfect world, suffering wouldn’t exist, or at least not how we know it. In a perfect world, things would be exquisitely and painfully beautiful, like reading a novel you never want to end. In a perfect world, I’d like to see friendship — people helping people for no other reason besides that we all need a hand up sometimes.
